Data from the East Side Treatment Plant shows conclusively that recreational boating does not increase turbidity in Lake Windermere's drinking water supply. On the 15 busiest boating days over two years, turbidity was lower than the monthly average 80% of the time — debunking years of false claims by anti-boating advocates.

ʔAkisq̓nuk First Nation writes to BC's Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship requesting the immediate suspension of all new and proposed development on the shorelines of Lake Windermere and Columbia Lake, citing irreparable harm to their Aboriginal rights and the need for an Indigenous-led lake stewardship plan.

The BC Supreme Court granted an interlocutory injunction restraining the Tretheway Beach Society from dredging Windermere Lake, finding sufficient evidence of irreparable harm to the ʔAkisq̓nuk First Nation's aboriginal rights, pending judicial review of the Environmental Appeal Board's Stay Dismissal Decision.
